Overview
- In Spain, Aemet has warnings active in 14 autonomous communities and Melilla due to Storm Goretti, with the worst impacts expected Friday into Saturday including strong winds, coastal surge and mountain snow.
- Orange coastal alerts cover Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country for very rough seas, while Huesca, Lleida and the Navarre Pyrenees face orange snow alerts as snow levels drop toward 500–700 meters in the north.
- Asturias faces waves up to 6–7 meters and wind gusts on the coast, with a yellow snow alert in the Cantabrian Mountains from roughly 900–1,000 meters.
