Off-Duty Police Officer Attacked by Group in Toulouse

A CRS officer was assaulted by a masked group while off duty, reportedly due to being recognized as a policeman.

An off-duty CRS officer was attacked by approximately fifteen individuals in Toulouse on November 12, 2024.
The incident occurred near a known dealing point in the La Faourette area, where the officer was waiting in his car.
The attack was reportedly initiated after the officer was recognized, with one assailant shouting, 'Y a un flic!' (There's a cop!).
Three suspects, aged between 18 and 23, have been arrested, though they deny recognizing the officer.
The officer sustained injuries to his jaw and neck, while his companion, though unharmed physically, was left in shock.
