• Police say Lexiano Harris, 32, struck a 51-year-old man in the face with a cane near 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue around 3:15–3:30 a.m. Tuesday, causing a cut and abrasion.
• Harris was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Officers reported finding crystal meth on Harris and a clear plastic bag with cocaine at the scene, according to the criminal complaint.
