Off Campus Will Shift Its Central Couple in Season 2 While Original Leads Return

Showrunners say the series will follow the books’ rotating-couple format to keep characters while moving the main romance to a new pair.

Showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed that Ella Bright’s Hannah and Belmont Cameli’s Garrett will return for Season 2 but their romance will no longer be the season’s central storyline.
Season 2 will spotlight Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) as the primary romantic focus in line with the Elle Kennedy novels.
Filming is scheduled to begin in early June and Prime Video has indicated a release no earlier than April or May 2027 for the new season.
Belmont Cameli told press that Garrett’s storyline continues after Season 1 and that the couple’s arc is not finished, signaling ongoing plot threads for returning characters.
The show’s rapid streaming success (36 million streams in 12 days) has intensified fan scrutiny, which surfaced in Germany after a translation/dubbing error in Episode 2 created a visible character inconsistency on TikTok.
