- Producers say the season will draw from Elle Kennedy’s book The Score but will emphasize Dean and Allie rather than following the novels in strict order.
- Antonio Cipriano is confirmed to reprise John Logan and new series regulars include Shay Rudolph as Summer and India Fowler as Grace Ivers, with author Elle Kennedy signaling her approval.
- Lead actor Belmont Cameli said he received a standard contract pay increase and explained that multi-year TV deals often build in raises and renegotiation points.
- Amazon previously optioned the full Off Campus book slate, the series has used material from multiple novels so far, and that flexibility positions the show to expand into additional seasons if it remains successful.
