Ofcom Launches Impartiality Probes into GB News and TalkTV Shows Hosted by Politicians

Ofcom has launched broadcast standards investigations into TalkTV and GB News after receiving complaints.
The investigations are focused on potential breaches of Ofcom's impartiality rules by politicians who also serve as newsreaders.
GB News is being investigated for an interview with Jeremy Hunt and an episode of "State of the Nation" presented by Jacob Rees-Mogg.
TalkTV's "Richard Tice" program, presented by Alex Salmond, is also under investigation for potential breaches of impartiality rules.
Ofcom is conducting new research to understand audience attitudes towards politicians presenting programs and will publish the findings later this year.
