ODPEs Install Local Offices and Finalize Logistics for Nov. 30 Party Primaries Across Peru

  • ODPE Lima Centro began installing 49 district offices across Lima Metropolitana and Callao with plans for 95 polling tables serving about 25,559 affiliates.
  • ODPE Piura habilitated 26 offices in Piura and Tumbes, scheduling 46 tables at 26 locales for roughly 4,996 affiliates of Renovación Popular and Partido Aprista Peruano.
  • ODPE Abancay set up 10 offices in Apurímac and Ayacucho with 14 tables for 1,353 affiliates plus three tables for five delegates across 10 locales.
  • Primary voting is slated for November 30 nationwide, with some Abancay jurisdictions also operating on December 7 in line with the 2026 electoral calendar.
  • Trainings for poll workers, affiliates and party observers include the STAE system to streamline tally sheets, with PNP and Armed Forces tasked to guard polling sites.
