Odisha Vigilance Arrests Two Officials After Raids Uncover Alleged Disproportionate Assets

  • Searches linked to Jena across six locations yielded a triple-storey residence, a double-storey market complex valued at over Rs 1.34 crore, six plots, an electronics shop, two rented godowns, 100 grams of gold, deposits worth Rs 34.06 lakh, and a vehicle.
  • Vigilance registered two separate cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act following the seizures.
  • The operations were conducted under warrants issued by the Special Judge (Vigilance), Keonjhar, and financial scrutiny of records, including bank accounts and a locker, is continuing.
