  • Following the exam, he spent three months as a construction worker in Bengaluru, earning Rs 45,000 and saving Rs 25,000 for admission-related expenses.
  • He learned of his success via a call from teacher Basudev Moharana at the construction site and returned home the next day with his contractor’s permission.
  • His parents, Sahadeb and Rangi, have asked the government for financial support to help him complete the course.
