Odisha SLSWCA Clears 25 Projects Worth Rs 4,739 Crore, Targeting 25,200 Jobs

Textile-led, cluster-building investments highlight the state's single-window push.

  • The approvals were granted at a State Level Single Window Clearance Authority meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.
  • Projects span 13 sectors that include textiles, steel, chemicals, IT, logistics, renewable energy, tourism, metal downstream, circular economy, cold storage and capital goods across multiple districts.
  • Linde India won two clearances: an Rs 82 crore Global Competency Centre in Khordha with 210 jobs and a Rs 105.70 crore pipeline cluster in Jajpur expected to serve Tata Steel and other industries with 3,500 jobs.
  • Textile and apparel investments lead the slate, featuring Colortone Textiles in Khordha (Rs 700.29 crore; 1,010 jobs), Techno Activewear in Cuttack (Rs 100 crore; 2,500 jobs), Hindalco apparel units in Keonjhar and Sambalpur (Rs 100 crore each; about 2,400 jobs total) and SCM Garments in Cuttack (Rs 150 crore; 4,000 jobs).
  • Other notable approvals include Konark Ispat’s Rs 990 crore expansion in Jharsuguda (2,000 jobs), a hazardous waste facility by BEIL Infrastructure in Ganjam (Rs 320.70 crore), a logistics park by Saizar Enterprise in Angul (Rs 127.86 crore) and a fabrication and galvanising unit by Mascot Electromech in Mayurbhanj (Rs 97.76 crore).
