Overview
- The state credited Rs 5,000 each to more than 1.24 crore women under the third tranche of the five-year Subhadra Yojana via direct benefit transfer
- A total of 246 women who missed earlier disbursals received the full Rs 15,000 owed to them in one lump sum
- Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said about 2 lakh women flagged as ineligible under revised criteria will undergo case-by-case reassessment
- The online application portal will reopen after August 9 for women aged 21 and above meeting income and asset criteria to register
- Door-to-door surveys are planned in remote areas such as Kotia in Koraput district to identify eligible women without internet access
