Odisha Opens Second Special OJEE Registration to Fill Vacant Seats

The board says the short CBT will allocate seats left after the first counselling using a BTech syllabus aligned to JEE Main.

Overview

  • Registration for the Second/Special OJEE began Wednesday on the official portal ojee.nic.in and will stay open until June 28 at 11 PM.
  • The computer-based test is scheduled tentatively for July 13–15 and ranks from this exam will be used only to fill seats left vacant after the first phase of counselling.
  • Candidates who already hold a JEE Main 2026 rank for BTech or an OJEE 2026 rank for other programmes are not required to sit the special exam and their existing ranks will remain valid.
  • The BTech paper will follow the JEE Main 2026 syllabus while syllabi for other courses match the May OJEE 2026 exams, and out-of-state candidates cannot claim government college seats though they may apply to private colleges.
  • OJEEB says the special round aims to improve seat utilisation across undergraduate and postgraduate courses including BTech, lateral-entry BTech, BPharm, BSc Nursing, MBA, MCA and MSc Computer Science and gives applicants one more chance to secure admission.
