Overview

• On June 3, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi unveiled 15 projects valued at Rs 205 crore in Deogarh district.
• The program features a newly built 300-bed district hospital among 11 healthcare initiatives to strengthen local medical services.
• Four education infrastructure projects were launched to upgrade school buildings and learning facilities across the district.
• A Rs 41.17 crore assistance scheme will benefit around nine lakh kendu leaf pluckers, binders and seasonal workers with cash grants and essential supplies.
• These measures form part of the state’s broader plan to achieve balanced regional growth across 30 districts, advancing toward a prosperous Odisha by 2036 and a developed India by 2047.
