Odisha Announces Rs 85-Crore Ayurvedic College in Rairangpur, Eight Panchakarma Centres This Year

The project is a state–Centre collaboration aligned with ongoing AYUSH hospital builds under the National AYUSH Mission.

  • Three integrated AYUSH hospitals are currently being built in Dhenkanal, Berhampur and Balasore under the National AYUSH Mission.
  • Odisha counts three government Ayurvedic colleges, four homeopathic colleges, five Ayurvedic hospitals, four homeopathic hospitals and 1,011 AYUSH dispensaries, and it reports more than 2.3 crore patients served through Ayurveda services so far this year.
