- Octopus Energy launched a 7:30–8:30pm Saving Session on Thursday that pays 415 OctoPoints, equal to 52p for every kilowatt hour a participating household reduces.
- About 1.2 million Octopus customers were eligible to join the event and the company says its 440,000 connected devices can shift up to 4.5 gigawatt hours of demand for grid support.
