Overview

• Restrictions run from 5:00 to 22:00 across the 16 boroughs of Mexico City and 18 municipalities of the State of Mexico.
• Vehicles with verification hologram 1 and an even plate ending (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) are barred this second Saturday of the month, and all hologram 2 vehicles are restricted every Saturday.
• Holograms 0 and 00 are exempt, as are electric vehicles, qualifying hybrids, motorcycles, disability plates, authorized permits and other categories listed by Sedema.
• Drivers can confirm whether they may circulate by using the official lookup at hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx with their hologram or plate information.
• Some outlets report additional limits for out-of-state or foreign plates and note fines of 20–30 UMAs for violations, equivalent to roughly 2,075–3,113 pesos.
