• Oben Electric will unveil the next-generation Rorr EZ on August 5 with bookings opening immediately and deliveries scheduled from August 15 in major Indian cities.
• It is powered by Oben’s in-house LFP battery technology, offering 50% higher thermal resistance and twice the lifespan of conventional chemistries for improved safety and longevity.
• The electric motor delivers an IDC range of up to 175 km, a top speed of 95 kmph, and accelerates from zero to 40 kmph in about 3.3 seconds, with fast charging to 80% in 45 minutes.
• Oben has teased bold new styling for the next-gen model and indicates it will integrate advanced electronic rider aids such as traction control, ABS, cruise control, and multiple ride modes.
• The Rorr EZ is aimed at India’s largest 100cc-equivalent commuter segment and positioned to compete with models like the Ola Roadster X at comparable pricing.
