Oasis Tour to Proceed, Police Seek Footage in Wembley Tragedy

Overview

  • A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from Wembley Stadium’s upper tier during the fourth of five sold-out Oasis reunion shows on August 2.
  • Metropolitan Police officers, venue medics and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports of an injured person at around 10:20 pm and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
  • Oasis said they were “shocked and saddened” by the fan’s death and offered their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.
  • Wembley Stadium confirmed that specially trained officers are supporting the victim’s family and that the final London concert on August 3 proceeded as planned.
  • The Live ’25 reunion tour will move on to Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the United States before returning to Wembley for two further dates in September.
