Oasis Guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs Reveals Prostate Cancer, Will Miss Asia and Australia Shows

He reports a strong response to treatment, with a target return when the tour reaches South America in November.

  • Arthurs said on Instagram that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer early in 2025 and is responding well to treatment.
  • He will take a planned break for the next phase of care, skipping Seoul on Oct. 21, Tokyo on Oct. 25–26, Melbourne on Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and 4, and Sydney on Nov. 7–8.
  • He expects to rejoin Oasis in November for the South American dates in Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
  • He performed with the band during the September reunion shows in Mexico as part of the Oasis Live '25 tour.
  • He previously underwent treatment for tonsil cancer in 2022 and later announced he was free of that illness.
