Oakland Police Fatally Shoot Armed Homicide Suspect

The suspect, wanted in connection with a March homicide, was shot outside a West Oakland home.

The incident occurred in the 1000 block of 16th Street, near DeFremery Park.
The suspect, armed with a gun, emerged from the residence as police secured the area.
Officers fired at the suspect, who died at the scene despite first aid efforts.
