Oakland Man Arrested in San Francisco French Bulldog Theft as Search for Hank Continues

Investigators say they seized evidence from the suspect’s car after locating it in East Oakland.

  • Hank, a tan or fawn French bulldog valued at more than $950, has not been located and the investigation remains active.
  • Police say the dog was taken from the sidewalk near the 400 block of Castro Street around 11:44 p.m. on Dec. 10 after a man picked him up and ran off.
