Oakland Father Critically Injured by Stray Bullet While Napping at Home

Run Hua Kuang, a delivery driver and sole provider for his family, is on life support after a bullet pierced his headboard and struck him in the head.

Kuang was napping after work when the bullet entered his home, hitting him in the head and exiting through his eye.
He underwent seven hours of surgery and remains on life support in the ICU.
The Oakland Housing Authority is investigating the shooting, with no suspects identified yet.
Kuang immigrated from China in 2005 and supports his wife, two young daughters, and parents.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help the family with medical and living expenses.
