NYPD Seeks Suspects in Fatal Beating of Homeless Man Outside Brooklyn ShopRite

Two men are wanted for attacking homeless individuals with metal pipes and a baseball bat, resulting in one death.

Cos Jervis Jonas Ajpuac, a 38-year-old homeless man, died from injuries sustained in an attack outside a Brooklyn supermarket.
The incident occurred on September 18 in the parking lot of a ShopRite on McDonald Avenue in Mapleton.
Ajpuac and another 42-year-old homeless man were assaulted while sleeping, suffering severe injuries from metal pipes and a baseball bat.
The NYPD has identified Francisco Corocoj, 25, and Manuel Perez, 49, as suspects, both known to frequent the area.
Authorities have released surveillance footage of the suspects and are urging the public to provide information through Crime Stoppers.
