Overview
- The attack occurred around 3:40 a.m. Monday inside a residence near Pilling Street and Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick, police said.
- Investigators say the intruder entered through a kitchen window, placed a pillow over the 43-year-old’s head, tied her wrists, and carried out a sexually motivated act.
- The assailant took the victim’s cellphone and watch before fleeing on foot, according to the NYPD.
- Emergency responders took the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, where she was listed in stable condition.
- On Tuesday, detectives released surveillance images and described the suspect as wearing a white cap, a black sweatshirt, dark pants, black sneakers, and carrying a dark backpack, and asked for tips via Crime Stoppers.
