- The suspect slapped a 54-year-old man, removed the dog’s muzzle, and commanded it to bite, according to the NYPD.
- The German shepherd injured the victim’s left hand with multiple bites, and EMS brought him to NYU Langone Tisch Hospital in stable condition.
- The attacker fled the station with the leashed dog and remains unidentified, police said.
- Investigators released photos showing a man in a black fur-trimmed hat, long camouflage coat, blue jeans, and black shoes, and asked anyone with information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
