Overview
- The attack occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 16 near Liberty Avenue and 123rd Street in South Richmond Hill, police said.
- The victim, a 26-year-old man, was slashed across the neck with an unknown object as he tried to get back into his car and remains in critical but stable condition.
- Investigators say the assailant confronted the victim over a parking spot before fleeing southbound on 123rd Street in a black GMC Terrain.
- Police released images and a description of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, white T-shirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
