  • The assailant exited the train at Hoyt-Schermerhorn before officers from the 84th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 30 could intervene.
  • The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, received stitches, and is listed in stable condition.
  • On Tuesday, investigators released surveillance images and a clothing description—black hat, black sweater, blue pants—and asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or online.
