• Dashanna Donovan, 21, was chased into the basement of her East Elmhurst building on Sept. 12 and shot multiple times, dying at the scene.
• Newly released surveillance shows a man in a distinctive blue Under Armour hoodie in the neighborhood before the attack and later entering transit at Canal Street without paying.
• Detectives say work with Donovan’s family led them to a person of interest linked to her time in South Carolina, but no arrest or public identification has been made.
• Police have traced the suspect’s movements by bus and subway from Queens to Lower Manhattan and are still collecting additional video.
• NYPD is coordinating with South Carolina authorities and asking the public to submit tips through Crime Stoppers.
