  • Two incidents of forcible touching occurred on June 2 at around 10:50 p.m. near Astoria Boulevard and 22nd Street and again at 11:10 p.m. near 47th Street and Newtown Road.
  • In each encounter, the suspect claimed a victim had a spider before groping one woman’s buttock and another’s buttock and vagina.
  • Witnesses describe the suspect as a dark-complexioned male last seen wearing a black jacket, maroon pants, and blue sandals who fled on foot toward Newtown Road.
  • Police are gathering accounts from local women in Astoria to help map the suspect’s movements and identify additional witnesses.
