- On Tuesday, a dignified transfer procession closed sections of the FDR Drive as NYPD and FDNY personnel rendered honors for Officer Islam’s remains
- The funeral will open Thursday morning with a women-only viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a men-only viewing from 11 a.m. to noon under Islamic tradition
