Overview
- Two men were assaulted on the southbound F platform at 57th Street just after 11 p.m. on Oct. 11, with a 39-year-old slashed and a 37-year-old pushed onto the tracks, police said.
 - Both victims were treated at Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition as detectives released cellphone images showing the suspects moments before the assault.
 - The NYPD described one suspect in a purple jacket and mask and a second in an orange jacket and gray hoodie, and urged tips to Crime Stoppers as no arrests have been made.
 - In a separate case, officers arrested Demetri Marshall, 32, on Monday for an unprovoked face slashing of a 27-year-old outside the East Broadway station around 7:40 a.m.
 - Marshall was charged with assault, pleaded not guilty, and was held without bail after arraignment, with authorities noting prior arrests including earlier transit-related cases and a past robbery conviction.
