• Shane Devone Tamura, 27, drove from Las Vegas to New York and at 6:20 p.m. on Monday opened fire in the lobby of 345 Park Avenue before killing himself on the 33rd floor.
• Officer Didarul Islam and three civilians died in the attack and one other person remains in critical condition.
• A three-page note found on the shooter cited CTE and expressed hostility toward the National Football League.
• The NYPD bomb squad and FBI secured the scene and have launched a joint inquiry into the shooter’s motives, building security protocols and mental health factors.
