NYC Opens Registration for 100,000 Free Tickets to Macy’s July 4 Fireworks

Registration opens Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. for prime viewing areas at Brooklyn Bridge Park, with Seaport spots limited to two per applicant.

Overview

  • The city is distributing 100,000 free tickets online starting July 1 at 8:30 a.m. ET, allowing up to four requests for Brooklyn Bridge Park and two for the Seaport per person.
  • An early access offer grants four tickets to the first 2,500 New Yorkers who text "FIREWORKS" to 917-909-2288.
  • Non-ticket holders can watch along marked FDR Drive entry points and an ADA-accessible viewing area at Murray Bergtraum Field.
  • The 49th annual show will fire over 80,000 shells off barges and the Brooklyn Bridge with 11 new effects, 30 colors and state-of-the-art projection mapping.
  • A two-hour NBC broadcast and Peacock stream at 8 p.m. ET will feature performances hosted by Ariana DeBose and musical acts including the Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz and Keke Palmer.
