Overview
- Polls are open Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for New York City’s general election for mayor and other local offices.
 - Confirm your assigned polling place at findmypollsite.vote.nyc, as locations can change and vary by voter address.
 - The Civic Engagement Commission’s Voter Language Access program posts maps for sites with interpreters citywide and offers services in Spanish, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Urdu and Yiddish, with availability differing by borough.
 - Voters may bring a personal interpreter if needed—anyone except an employer or union representative—and can report denied assistance by calling 311.
 - Most registered voters do not need ID at the polls, while first-time voters or those without a valid ID on file must show acceptable documentation or complete an affidavit ballot.
