NYC Bus Left Dangling Over Bronx Overpass After Crash

A Manhattan-bound MTA bus crashed through a stone wall near the Henry Hudson Parkway, leaving its front section hanging over the edge; no injuries were reported.

The accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. near Kappock Street in the Spuyten Duyvil neighborhood of the Bronx.
The bus driver lost control, missed a turn, and collided with a retaining wall, causing the front of the bus to dangle precariously over a 12-foot drop.
No passengers were on board the BXM1 express bus at the time of the incident, and the driver was unharmed.
Emergency responders safely extracted the driver from the vehicle shortly after the crash.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and the NYPD.
