Overview
- The league released finalist lists for MVP, Defender, Goalkeeper, Midfielder, Rookie and Coach of the Year following a preliminary vote by players, club leaders and media.
- MVP finalists are Delphine Cascarino (San Diego), Temwa Chawinga (Kansas City), Esther González (Gotham), Manaka Matsukubo (North Carolina) and Bia Zaneratto (Kansas City).
- Kansas City, the Shield winner, earned the most recognition with seven player nominees and coach Vlatko Andonovski among the Coach of the Year finalists.
- Seattle Reign is represented by Claudia Dickey for Goalkeeper of the Year, Jordyn Bugg for Defender of the Year and Maddie Dahlien for Rookie of the Year.
- Final voting uses a weighted ballot of players 40%, owners/GMs/coaches 25%, media 25% and fans 10%, with fan voting open through Nov. 12 and winners revealed Nov. 19 on ESPN2 from San Jose.
