NWS Warns of Dangerous Rip Currents on South-Facing California Beaches Through Wednesday

A south swell linked to Hurricane Narda is producing elevated surf on exposed shores, prompting officials to urge people to avoid the water.

On Monday at 1:48 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory in effect until Wednesday Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. for Malibu.
