NWS: Strong Storms Push Into Ventura and Los Angeles County With 50 mph Gusts

At 2:27 PM PST, radar showed a north-moving line from near Fillmore to Point Dume at about 25 mph with wind gusts up to 50 mph.
Areas highlighted included Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Malibu, Agoura Hills, Santa Clarita, Moorpark, Westlake Village, and nearby mountain corridors.
The National Weather Service said gusts could knock down entire trees and blow around unsecured objects.
Torrential rain with these storms may cause localized flooding, and officials urged drivers not to enter flooded roadways.
Earlier Monday, a Central Coast line moved east-southeast near Santa Maria and Lompoc with a very weak tornado possible, following a Sunday pre-dawn waterspout risk near Santa Barbara.
