Overview

  • The online registration window has been pushed back from August 13 to August 27, 2025, following earlier extensions from July 29.
  • Applicants must register and pay fees via the official portals navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in.
  • Required uploads include a recent photograph, parent and student signatures, and either Aadhaar details or a government-issued residence certificate in JPG/JPEG format within specified size limits.
  • Only students born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016, who have not previously completed Class 5 are eligible to apply.
  • The selection test will take place in two phases on December 13, 2025, and April 11, 2026, with up to 80 students admitted per Vidyalaya.
