Nvidia's RTX Remix Tool Now Available in Open Beta

Modders Can Now Remaster Classic Games with Modern Graphics Technologies

Nvidia's RTX Remix tool, which allows modders to remaster classic games with modern graphics technologies, is now available in open beta.
The tool works best with DirectX 8 and 9 games and allows for the injection of new lighting, textures, and assets into older games.
Modders can use the tool to create high-quality remasters of classic games, giving them modern ray-tracing graphical features without needing to revamp the game engine.
The tool also includes an AI texture tool that uses Tensor Cores in GeForce RTX GPUs to analyze low-resolution textures and generate physically accurate materials.
Nvidia has partnered with ModDB to host a compatibility table and configuration files for games compatible with RTX Remix.
