  • Huang will host a media briefing in Beijing on July 16, marking his second visit to China this year.
  • Since 2022, U.S. export rules have blocked sales of Nvidia’s most advanced GPUs to China and in early 2025 they banned the H20 AI chip.
  • Nvidia generated $17 billion from Chinese customers in its fiscal year ending January 2025, accounting for 13% of its total sales.
  • In a CNN interview, Huang said China’s military is unlikely to use U.S. AI chips because of the risks involved.
