NVIDIA Transitions to GeForce RTX 50 Series Production

NVIDIA has shifted its production focus to the upcoming RTX 50 series, ceasing most RTX 40 series manufacturing except for the AD107 chip.

NVIDIA has halted production of nearly all RTX 40 series GPUs, focusing instead on the new RTX 50 series, codenamed 'Blackwell'.
Only the AD107 chip, used in RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 cards, remains in production due to its popularity in the budget segment.
The RTX 50 series is expected to launch at CES 2025, with the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 anticipated to be available in January.
Current RTX 40 series GPUs are entering the final stages of inventory clearance, with retailers offering discounts to make way for the new series.
Board partners have started receiving engineering samples of the RTX 50 series, preparing for a market release in early 2025.
