Nvidia RTX 50 Series GPUs Leak Ahead of CES 2025 Launch

Rumored specifications detail significant performance upgrades for the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070, with official announcements expected in early 2025.

The flagship RTX 5090 is rumored to feature 21,760 CUDA cores, 32GB of GDDR7 memory, a 512-bit memory bus, and a 600W power draw, promising a 50-70% performance boost over the RTX 4090.
The RTX 5080 and 5070 Ti are expected to use the GB203 GPU, with the 5080 offering 10,752 CUDA cores and the 5070 Ti featuring 8,960 CUDA cores and a 300W power draw.
The RTX 5070 is reported to include 6,400 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR7 memory, and a 250W power draw, but may show only modest improvements over its RTX 40-series counterpart.
The Blackwell architecture, built on TSMC’s N4 process, is anticipated to deliver enhanced efficiency and performance, including improved ray tracing and AI capabilities with DLSS 4.
Nvidia is expected to unveil the RTX 5090 and 5080 at CES 2025 in January, with the 5070 Ti and 5070 potentially launching in February, followed by the RTX 5060 series later in the year.
