NVIDIA Prepares for Launch of Next-Gen AI GPUs Amid CEO's Asia Visit

Jensen Huang meets with key clients and suppliers in China and Taiwan as company gears up for release of Hopper H200 and Blackwell B100 GPUs.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang recently visited China and Taiwan, meeting with key clients and suppliers including Alibaba, Tencent, TSMC, and Wistron.
The visit comes as NVIDIA prepares for the launch of its next-generation Hopper H200 and Blackwell B100 AI GPUs, expected to significantly reshape market dynamics.
The Hopper H200 GPU will feature Micron's new HBM3e memory, allowing NVIDIA to almost double the AI inference performance compared to its H100 AI GPU.
The Blackwell B100 AI GPU, details of which are yet to be released, is expected to bring decisive uplifts in terms of performance per watt through the adoption of a chiplet design.
The visit also comes amid increasing China-US tensions and AI-chip sanctions being placed on China, with NVIDIA's AI processors becoming pivotal in the tech race between the two nations.
