Nvidia Partners with Swedish Consortium to Build Country’s Biggest Enterprise AI Supercomputer

Overview

  • A consortium led by Wallenberg Investments with AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab and SEB is joining Nvidia to deploy Sweden’s largest enterprise AI supercomputer.
  • The initial phase features two DGX SuperPODs powered by Nvidia’s next-generation Grace Blackwell GB300 systems.
  • Industry partners will leverage the infrastructure for AI-driven drug discovery, telecommunications model training, defence applications and financial services innovation.
  • Nvidia will establish its first AI Technology Center in Sweden to offer research support, expert consultations and Deep Learning Institute training for upskilling local talent.
  • The facility will use hydroelectric power and advanced liquid-immersion cooling to address the energy intensity and carbon footprint of large-scale AI infrastructure.
