  • The desktop GeForce RTX 5050 was officially listed on Nvidia’s website with a $249 MSRP and is set to hit shelves in the second half of July.
  • Both laptop and desktop variants feature 2,560 CUDA cores and an 8 GB, 128-bit configuration; notebooks pair with GDDR7 VRAM for 384 GB/s bandwidth; desktop cards rely on GDDR6 for 320 GB/s.
  • Designed for entry-level 1080p gaming, the RTX 5050 carries a 115 W TDP on laptops and a 130 W TDP on desktops, requiring a single 8-pin power connector and a 550 W system supply.
  • With support for DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, the GPU outpaces the RTX 4050 by about 9% in benchmarks and competes directly with AMD’s RX 9060 XT and Intel’s Arc B580/B570.
