G-Assist, first introduced as an April Fools' joke in 2017, is now a fully functional AI assistant available for Nvidia RTX 30-, 40-, and 50-series GPUs.
The assistant optimizes game and system settings, detects performance bottlenecks, and offers solutions such as GPU overclocking and resolution adjustments.
Operating locally via a small language model, G-Assist eliminates the need for cloud connectivity, ensuring privacy and faster response times.
The tool integrates with third-party peripherals like Logitech and Corsair, enabling users to control lighting, fan speeds, and more through voice or text commands.
The Nvidia app update introducing G-Assist also includes new features like DLSS Override and Display Scaling for enhanced display and performance customization.
