- Nvidia confirmed Tuesday that it will stop issuing new feature and performance updates for Windows 10 GeForce and NVIDIA Studio "Game Ready" drivers after October 2026.
- From October 2026 through October 2029 Nvidia will deliver only quarterly security and critical-bug fixes for Windows 10 drivers, with all driver updates ending by November 2029.
- Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates program continues to cover Windows 10 until October 2027, creating a gap between OS security support and vendor driver feature support.
- Existing games should keep running on Windows 10, but new-game optimizations and fixes for noncritical bugs will not be provided, which could leave players facing performance issues on recent titles.
