NVIDIA Details Rubin and Rubin Ultra GPUs with Vera CPUs, Launching in 2026 and 2027
The Rubin series marks a leap in AI computing, introducing HBM4 memory, integrated Vera CPUs, and unprecedented performance scaling.
- NVIDIA's Rubin GPUs, set to launch in 2026, will feature two reticle-sized chips, offering up to 50 PFLOPs of FP4 performance and 288 GB of HBM4 memory.
- Rubin Ultra GPUs, arriving in 2027, will scale up to four reticle-sized chips, delivering 100 PFLOPs of FP4 performance and 1 TB of HBM4e memory.
- The Rubin NVL144 platform will provide 3.6 ExaFLOPS of FP4 inference and 1.2 ExaFLOPS of FP8 training capabilities, a 3.3x performance improvement over Blackwell NVL72.
- Rubin Ultra NVL576 will push performance further with 15 ExaFLOPS of FP4 inference and 5 ExaFLOPS of FP8 training, a 14x increase over Blackwell NVL72.
- The Vera CPUs, integrated into the Rubin platforms, will feature 88 custom ARM cores, 176 threads, and a 1.8 TB/s NVLink interface for seamless GPU-CPU collaboration.
