Overview

  • An additional $97 million extension brought the Series E to $203 million, adding new backers Nvidia, Icehouse Ventures, Kindred Ventures, and Pledge Ventures, with participation from Uber and Baillie Gifford.
  • The first $106 million tranche in April included investors advised by T. Rowe Price, Fidelity, Tiger Global, Greylock Partners, and XN.
  • Nuro says it has raised more than $2.3 billion to date, with the latest valuation below the $8.6 billion it reached in 2021.
  • Proceeds will scale the AI-first Nuro Driver and expand commercial partnerships, building on Nvidia’s long-running technical ties that include DRIVE AGX Thor hardware and GPU-based training.
  • Uber’s contribution is partly contingent on milestones tied to a Lucid partnership that targets deploying about 20,000 Nuro-equipped Gravity SUVs across multiple markets over six years starting in 2026.
